CACA actively promote oncological research by initiating several multi-center clinical studies of anticancer drugs and a numbers of research projects on the current treatment of malignant tumors. In addition, CACA is undertaking the “Breast Cancer Screening Project” initiated by Chinese Ministry of Health. This project involves 530,000 women from 30 provinces / cities and 53 counties / district. The doctors trained by CACA experts offer free, reliable, and professional breast cancer examination for the women of proper ages in order to decrease the mortality rate by early diagnosis and early treatment. The project will explore a new combination of breast cancer screening methods that fits to the current situation of China and biological characteristics of Chinese women. Meanwhile, the screening project will promote the spread of breast cancer prevention knowledge. The quality of life of Chinese people will be improved as well.
