2008

　　◆March 3, 2008: Ms. Isabel Mortara, the Executive Director of International Union Against Cancer (UICC), Mr. Laurence Verhagen, the Director of conference department and Mr. Juerg Boller, the Director of Financial Department visited China. A meeting was held in Beijing among the leadership of UICC, the Chinese Anit-Cancer Association and the Chinese Medical Association to discuss the relevant issues about the 2010 World Cancer Congress and to investigate the transportation, accommodation, and conferment stadium conditions.

　　◆March 6, 2008: The Executive Director of International Union Against Cancer visited the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.

　　◆April 12, 2008: Ms. Connie Osborne, the Senior Adviser of World Health Organization visited the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.

　　◆August 1, 2008: the Director of the Japan Society for the Promotion of Science, Beijing Office visited the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association.

　　◆August 26, 2008, Organizing Tobacco Control Public Education Campaigns launched.

　　◆August 27-31: The Chinese Anti-Cancer Association sent a delegation to attend the UICC World Cancer Congress which was held in Geneva, Switzerland.
