On July 8-9, 2024, Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) delegation led by Vice President Ying Wang paid a visit at the National Academy of Medicine (ANM) in Rio de Janeiro and had fruitful academic exchanges. CACA and ANM successfully held the first joint symposium with the theme of "Healthy Aging and Cancer Prevention and Control". Prof. Eliete Bouskela, President of ANM and Prof. Ying Wang gave speeches at the opening ceremony. Academician Mauricio Magalhães Costa chaired the symposium. Eight experts from CACA and ANM shared the latest academic achievements. The symposium was held hybrid, attracting 4.17 million online viewers from China and Brazil. After the symposium, Prof. Eliete Bouskela and Prof. Ying Wang represented ANM and CACA respectively signed MoU, both parties will enhance future collaboration on jointly host academic symposiums, conduct faculty visits, strengthen scientific research and launch education and training programs.
