From June 20 to 21, 2024, the 50th Annual Meeting of the Korean Cancer Association (KCA) and the 10th International Cancer Conference hosted by the KCA were successfully held in Seoul, Korea. Prof. Ying Wang, Vice President of CACA, led a delegation to attend the conference. This year's annual meeting of the KCA brought together oncology experts and scholars from different countries such as Korea, China, Japan, Singapore, the United States, Canada, and the Netherlands. A total of 35 sub-venues were set up, and the participating experts conducted academic exchanges on topics such as basic research, clinical research, and clinical practice.

The 50th Anniversary Celebration of the KCA and the Global Cancer Network Symposium

  2024 is the 50th anniversary of the establishment of the KCA. This year's annual meeting specially set up the KCA 50th Anniversary Celebration and the Global Cancer Network Symposium. Prof. Ying Wang, Vice President of CACA, was invited to give a speech entitled "CACA's Role in National Cancer Control" at the meeting.

CACA-KCA Joint Symposium

  During the conference, a CACA-KCA joint symposium was held. The theme of the symposium was "Cancer Prevention and Screening in Asia". Professor Kexin Chen from Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital and Professor Wen-Qing Li from Peking University Cancer Hospital gave presentations at the meeting.

  By attending the conference, The CACA delegation strengthened academic exchanges with peers in Korea and other countries, and also enhanced friendship. Both CACA and KCA expressed their expectation for developing cooperation and achieve more results in the future.
