Tianjin, China – After a year-long process, the Holistic Integrative Oncology (HIO) journal has been officially granted a CN (China National) publication number, signifying its official recognition and approval within the Chinese academic community, marking a new chapter in cancer research and treatment. This milestone not only underscores CACA's commitment to advancing medical science but also highlights the growing importance of holistic approaches in combating cancer. The journal has been assigned the publication number CN12-1481/R73.

Launched in 2022, HIO is an open-access, peer-reviewed journal on all aspects of oncology research. With a large international editorial board who are the top scientists in their fields, HIO aims at providing the influential and state-of-art findings to the oncology community. As the flagship journal of CACA, it strives to publish the highest quality content that provides authoritative guidance to oncology specialists, clinicians and researchers. 

HIO’s editorial board comprises over 100 renowned oncology experts, including Nobel laureates, academicians, and experts from China and abroad. HIO is the world's first English journal promoting the concept of holistic integrative oncology, focusing on the comprehensive health model of "prevention-screening-diagnosis-treatment-recovery- management" for malignant tumors, covering all disciplines of oncology research.

HIO publishes Research, Review, Guideline, Letter and Commentary. Currently, Holistic Integrative Oncology published 12 collections. It offers free publishing for authors.
