Tianjin, China/Geneva, Switzerland. The Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) and the International Society of Geriatric Oncology (SIOG) are announcing their collaboration on a special Geriatric Oncology issue on "Advances in treatment of geriatric cancer" to be published in Cancer Biology & Medicine journal on December 30, 2015.　　

CACA & SIOG have decided to announce this collaboration today – February 4th -, World Cancer Day – to illustrate their commitment to the UICC 2015 Campaign – key focus n.3: “Not Beyond Us: Treatment for All”.

Dr. Xishan Hao - President of CACA - "CACA is the leading oncology society in China. It endeavours to promote academic exchange and public education. Moreover, it is active in collaborating with international NGOs. With the aging trend striking, geriatric oncology is attracting more attention and has developed rapidly. In order to promote multidisciplinary and personalized treatment for older cancer patients, CACA journal Cancer Biology & Medicine invited Dr. Riccardo Audisio – SIOG Past President as a guest editor for a special issue on geriatric oncology. I believe that the special issue will benefit cancer clinicians both in China and abroad."
