The Training Course of CACA Scientific and Technology Awards (SATA) was held in Jinan, Shandong Province on November 24-26, 2010. Prof. ZHANG Guangchao, General Secretary of CACA delivered an opening speech.

　　Attended the opening were Dr. LIU Fengxia, Director of National Scientific and technology Awards Office, Prof. ZHU Chunsheng, President of Jinan Military General Hospital, Prof. LU Zhaotong, Vice President of Jinan Military General Hospital, Dr. SHENG Xiugui, General Secretary of Shandong Anti-Cancer Association, Prof. LIU Yamin, Director of CACA Information Department.

　　The training of SATA as a basic guarantee of the recommendation of projects effectively pushed forward the development of SATA. The course was chaired by Dr. ZHAO Wenhua, Director of SATA Office. Upward 50 trainees participated in the course.

　　The course included the following aspects: Management of SATA; introduction of CACA SATA; matters concerned with program recommendation; the system of SATA and its operation; the experience in applying for SATA.
