On May 8-9, 2009, the 2nd Global Insight Conference on Breast Cancer and Lymphoma was held in Tianjin, China by the European School of Oncology (ESO), the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA), and the Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital. This was the first cooperation between ESO and Oncological Organizations in China.

　　Over 300 foreign experts and thousands of Chinese colleagues attend the conference. Prof. Xishan Hao, the President of CACA delivered the welcome speech and Prof. Guanchao Zhang, the General Secretary presented the conference. The congress achieved great success.

　　ESO was founded in 1982, with the aim of contributing to the reduction of deaths from cancer due to late diagnosis and/or inadequate treatment. ESO is the oldest and most structured organization exclusively dedicated to increasing the knowledge of health professionals in all fields of cancer medicine under the auspices of an international scientific committee and advisory board.
