The World Cancer Day 2009 in Xi’an City started from the free lecture in Xi’an Jiaotong University the First Kindergarten delivered by Prof. Zhigang LIU, the Director of the Committee of Pediatric Tumor in Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association. The attractive lecture introducing the relationship between overweight and cancer seized all the audiences. Over thirty young attendees painted their bright future after the lecture.

　　On World Cancer Day, free consultation services for 200 citizens were provided by a team of volunteers led by Prof. Shuye Li, the Director of Shaanxi Anti-Cancer Association, Prof. Zhigang LIU and so on. The cold weather didn’t put down their enthusiasm to spread common knowledge on weight control.
