The Resume of Professor Jiahong Zhao

Professor Zhao Jiaohong was admitted to the Medical Department of Harbin Medical University in 1957. After graduation, he stayed to work in the General Surgery of First Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University, as a resident physician, attending physician, lecturer and then associate chief physician. In 1981, he transferred to work in the Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University which is also known as the Tumor Hospital of Heilongjiang Province, serving as the Associate Chief Physician of the Abdominal Surgical Department. Professor Zhao became the Vice President of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University in 1983, and then the President in 1985, meanwhile serving as the Director of Surgical Teaching and Research Department and the Abdominal Surgical Department. In 1987, he was promoted the Associate Professor and the Associate Chief Physician. In 1991, he was promoted the Professor and the Chief Physician. He became the Honorary President of the Third Affiliated Hospital of Harbin Medical University in 1998 and awarded special allowance by the State Council in 1996.

He wined 3rd prize of Technology Award, Chinese Ministry of Health (First Author), 4 Awards of Science and Technology Progress in Heilongjiang Province and Several Awards of Heilongjiang Education Office, Ministry of Health, and Harbin Medical University , in terms of New Technology and Applications.
