7月2日，Holistic Integrative Oncology（HIO）英文期刊2024第六期定稿会在线上召开。本刊主编中国抗癌协会理事长樊代明院士，执行副主编中国抗癌协会副理事长王瑛教授以及相关领域的专家应邀参会。
会议由HIO期刊主编樊代明院士主持。他指出，HIO是中国抗癌协会的英文旗舰期刊，自创刊以来，发展迅速，2022年为季刊，2023年为双月刊，今年已发展为月刊，读者覆盖国内外156个国家，广泛的读者群为期刊提升国际知名度奠定了基础。
会上，编辑部向专家们汇报了HIO的运行情况及本期文章的外审结果。与会专家针对提交定稿会讨论的每篇文章进行点评，从方法学、临床指导意义、创新性、可读性等方面提出了针对性的指导意见。经主编和专家讨论，确定了2024年HIO第六期上线的文章。

HIO主编樊代明理事长表示，前列腺癌的发病率和死亡率分别位列中国男性恶性肿瘤发病和死亡谱的第6位和第7位，需要中国专家高度重视。他同时强调，HIO期刊作为一本致力于促进整合肿瘤治疗领域交流与发展的国际性学术期刊，未来要继续朝着国际化方向发展，吸纳不同国家、不同技术领域的文章，为学术界献上更加多元、全面的学术成果。
最后，樊理事长提出，HIO是中国肿瘤学专家学者向世界发出中国声音、提供中国肿瘤整合诊治方案的一个重要阵地，号召各位专家关注CACA旗舰英文期刊的发展，组织专业人员积极投稿，加大引用，力争HIO早日进入SCI数据库。
