The Committee of Bilary Tract Neoplasm was established in Shanghai in November, 2009 after one years preparation. Registered in the Ministry of Civil Affairs of the People’s Republic of China, the Committee of Bilary Tract Neoplasm is one of the specialized committees of the CACA. The Inaugural Ceremony and was held on November 27.

　　The First Council Meeting of the First Council was held on November 27th. The council members reached assent on the regulations, work plan and routine academic activities. The leadership of the committee was elected. The council members were confident of the new team. Prof. ZHANG Guang-chao, General Secretary of the CACA and Dr. ZHANG Jing, Director of Organizational Department attended the meeting.

　　The 1st Conference on Biliary Tract Neoplasm was held in Shanghai on November 27-30 in Shanghai. Upward 200 people took part in the congress. The subjects of the conference included biliary tract neoplasm, radiotherapy, chemotherapy, endoscope, robot-assisted surgery, pathology, imaging, bio-molecular and so on.
