The Opening Ceremony of the 11th National Academic Congress for Lung Cancer which was sponsored by CACA Committee of Lung Cancer and co-sponsored by the Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association and Tianjin medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital on August 27, 2009 in Tianjin. The theme of this year was “Treat Lung Cancer Comprehensively; Pay Close Attention to Life Quality of Lung Cancer Patients”.

　The National Academic Congress for Lung Cancer was held biannually as a platform for experts and doctors to exchange the latest academic achievement and experience. 1200 professional workers from home and aboard participate in the congress this year. 40 outstanding academic papers were shared on the conference.

　Vice-President of Tianjin Science and Technology Association Mr. Tian Huiguang and President of Tianjin Medical Association Mr. Zhao Kezheng delivered important speeches on the opening ceremony. Professor Hao Xishan, President of CACA made opening remarks. Prof. Zhang Guangchao, General Secretary of CACA and Prof. Wang Ying, Deputy Secretary-General attended the opening ceremony.
