Composed of cancer survivors, the Sunshine Troupe is an active group affiliated to the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Beijing Cancer Recovery Committee. The chorus, dance team and model team of the troupe perform frequently to encourage cancer patients all through China.

　　July 5, 2009, the First Dance Competition of Beijing Workers came to a successful conclusion. Over one thousand amateur dancers were apart of the competition. The perfect dance of the Sunshine Troupe “Da Shan Zhi Hang (The Rammer of Mountain)” was awarded a special prize. The audience and judges were moved by the strong and enthusiasm of the cancer dancers.

　　July 11, 2009, the Sunshine Troupe took part in the Beijing Chorus Festival which was jointly sponsored by the Beijing Federation of Literary and Art Circles, the Beijing People's Broadcasting Station and the China Conservatory and co-sponsored by the Beijing Music Society and the Beijing Art and Cultural Activities Center. Upwards 130 amateur choruses participated in the competition. The Sunshine Troupe won the second reward and the organizing reward by singing the theme song of the Festival “Fly, China” and “Underneath the Bring Sunshine”. Their singing expressed the sincere love confidence and wishes to China, its beautiful homeland.
