The Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association Cancer Recovery Committee was set up in Tianjin on 8th September 2009. The inauguration of the committee was held in the Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute and Hospital. Present as the ceremony were over one hundred cancer survivors and patients as well as he leadership of the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association, the Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association, the Chinese Anti-Cancer Association Cancer Recovery Committee and the Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital. The representatives of cancer survivors also attended the ceremony.

　　The aim of the Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association Cancer Recovery Committee is to call for the cancer survivors to “strengthen the survivorship work; emphasis on devotion and be self-discipline”.

　　Affiliated to the Tianjin Medical University Cancer Institute & Hospital, the Tianjin Anti-Cancer Association Cancer Recovery Committee will build physical practice sites in every district. It will also provide cancer survivors some free services such as lectures on cancer control, physical examinations, performance, sport meeting, the social gathering of patients and doctors, free entrance to museum and so on. The “Survivor Bulletin” will be distributed by the committee.
