The delegation led by Prof. Xishan HAO, the President of CACA participated in the 100th Annual Meeting of the American Association of Cancer Research (AACR) on April 18th, 2009. USCACA was set up during the congress. Over 150 experts from famous universities and cancer organizations home and abroad attend the opening ceremony.

　　Prof. Xishan Hao and Prof. Li YAN signed the cooperative agreement. Pro. Yan was appointed the executive president of the USCACA. The Letter of Intent of setting up USCACA was signed in October 2008.

　　The mission of the association shall be: Facilitates collaborations among Chinese American professionals in the field of cancer research, treatment and prevention; Promotes knowledge and information exchange between the professionals in the United States and China; Provides educational information to serve cancer patients, their families, and the community.

　　USCACA will make full use of the advanced medical technology and talents of USA and standardize Chinese anticancer career. Therefore, the cancer prevention, treatment and education will be further promoted.
