Sponsored by the Academic Department of CACA and Co-sponsored by the CACA and Guangzhou Anti-Cancer Association, the 33rd Academic Salon of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology for New Views and Theories was held in the Southern Hospital of Southern Medical University on June 27-28, 2009. 29 famous experts took part of the salon. Dr. Dongsheng Xuan, the Assistant of the President of CACA attended the salon and made important speech. The atmosphere of the Salon was active.

　　The Salon focused on the following topics: What is the oncology multidisciplinary treatment? What is and how to solve the problems in oncology multidisciplinary treatment? How to realize the individualized oncology treatment? How can individualized treatment be realized while involving more than one discipline? What is the relationship between the evidence-based medicine and experience-based medicine in clinical oncology? What are the problems during the medical reform and grading treatment of oncology?

　　This Salon was the first one of the Chinese Association for Science and Technology to sharing the opinions on medical fields. The book of the Salon is being editing to contain the ideas of the experts.
