The Joint Conference of Director of Specialized Committee of Chinese Anti-Cancer Association (CACA) and the Secretary of Provinces and cities Anti-Cancer Association was held in Fujian, China. The President of CACA, Prof. Xishan Hao delivered opening speech and reported the work of CACA. The Deputy Director of Department of Health of Fujian Province made welcome remark. During the conference, the Deputy Director the Academic Department of China Association for Science and Technology, Dr. Wenhui Zhu explained the “The Defects in the management of CACA”. On behalf of the Provincial Government, Mr. Chen extended his warm welcome to the CACA experts and congratulation to the joint conference. “We have achieved some Progress through the strategy of ‘relying on science and education to develop the country’” said Mr. Chen, the Vice-Governor of Fujian Province when he met the attendees during the conference. He also expressed his hope that CACA could do more to support the anticancer career in Fujian.

　　Prof. Xishan Hao sincerely thanked the support of Fujian Government, the Department of Health Fujian Province, and Fujian Cancer Hospital to this conference. He said in his speech “One of the missions of this conference is to study and implement Scientific Development View, sum up the work of 2008, work for the key point of the work in 2000, promote the provincial anti-cancer association, enhance the cohesion and activeness, of the association.”

　　There were 80 participants composed of the directors of Specialized Committees, general secretaries and vice secretary-general of Provincial and City Association and relevant directors took part in the congress.
